GUSA: You Were Never Walking Alone

I’ve always believed there is more.

More than what we can see.
More than what we can touch.
More than what we can explain.

Something beyond us.

Something around us.

Something within us.

That something, for me, is GUSA.

God. Universe. Spirits. Ancestors.

GUSA is not a religion. It is not a box I need you to step inside. It is not me telling you what you should believe or how you should believe it.

GUSA is connection.

It is my understanding that everything does not begin and end with me.

God.

The Divine.

The Source.

The presence greater than my physical existence.

The Connection to your Soul.

I don’t believe we have to completely understand God to experience God. Sometimes God is found in prayer. Sometimes in silence. Sometimes in the strength that mysteriously appears when you were certain you had none left.

Sometimes God is simply the knowing that says:

Keep going.

Even when you don’t know where you’re going.

Faith doesn’t always come with directions.

Sometimes faith is just taking another step.

Universe.

Look up.

Seriously.

Look at the sky and tell me we are all there is.

The Universe is endless, mysterious, beautiful, chaotic, destructive, creative—and somehow, here we are existing inside of it.

Stardust wrapped in skin.

Souls having human experiences.

We become so consumed by bills, jobs, relationships, responsibilities, expectations, and survival that sometimes we forget how extraordinary existence actually is.

You are standing on a planet floating through space.

Read that again.

Maybe that is why I pay attention to synchronicities.

Timing.

Patterns.

Energy.

Those moments when something happens and my Soul whispers,

That wasn’t random.

I don’t believe everything is a sign.

But I do believe we miss a lot of signs because we’re too distracted to notice them.

Spirits.

This is where things get interesting.

Because how do you explain something you can feel but cannot see?

How do you explain intuition?

How do you explain walking into a space and immediately feeling the energy shift?

How do you explain knowing something before you have evidence to prove what you know?

Maybe we aren’t supposed to explain everything.

Maybe some things are meant to be experienced.

Spirits remind me that existence may stretch beyond the physical.

They remind me to listen.

To feel.

To discern.

To trust my intuition while keeping myself grounded.

Because your Soul speaks.

The question is:

Are you quiet enough to hear it?

Ancestors.

This one sits differently with me.

Because before there was me…

there was them.

People whose names I may never know.

People who loved.

People who suffered.

People who survived.

People who dreamed.

People who made decisions that unknowingly created roads leading generations forward until eventually—

I arrived.

Think about that.

You are somebody’s wildest continuation.

There were Ancestors who survived circumstances designed to erase them, and somehow their blood continued moving.

Generation.

After generation.

After generation.

Until you.

That deserves reverence.

But honoring our Ancestors doesn’t mean carrying everything they carried.

Some traditions deserve continuation.

Some cycles deserve termination.

Sometimes the greatest way to honor those who came before you is to heal something they never had the opportunity to heal.

Maybe you are not disrespecting the past by choosing differently.

Maybe you are completing something.

So Why GUSA?

Because I need to remember that I am connected.

We all do.

Life has a way of making us believe we are isolated little beings trying to figure everything out alone.

But I don’t believe that.

We are Entities on our Human Journey!

I believe we are constantly interacting with something larger.

God above and within us.

The Universe surrounding us.

Spirits moving beyond what we can physically perceive.

Ancestors existing within our history, blood, memory, legacy, future, & present.

And you—

standing at the intersection of all of it.

That’s GUSA.

Not four separate ideas.

A connection.

A reminder.

A spiritual compass.

And the beautiful thing?

You don’t have to experience GUSA exactly the way I do.

Call God whatever feels sacred to you.

Explore the Universe.

Question things.

Learn your history.

Honor your people.

Sit in silence.

Meditate.

Journal.

Pray.

Talk to your Ancestors.

Listen to your intuition.

Stand underneath the stars and allow yourself to feel small for a moment.

Then remember—

small does not mean insignificant.

You belong to this existence just as much as the stars do.

GUSA Got Us.

I’ve learned that guidance doesn’t always look like someone taking your hand and showing you exactly where to go.

Sometimes guidance is a closed door.

Sometimes it’s an uncomfortable truth.

Sometimes it’s losing something you were convinced you needed.

Sometimes it’s meeting someone.

Sometimes it’s leaving someone.

Sometimes it’s stillness.

Sometimes it’s chaos.

Sometimes it’s that little voice inside saying,

Not this way.

And sometimes you don’t realize you were being guided until you look backward and see the path clearly.

That’s why presence matters.

Because how can you recognize guidance if you’re never present enough to receive it?

So I move through this life knowing I am not walking alone.

I am walking with everything that came before me.

Everything surrounding me.

Everything beyond me.

And everything Divine within me.

God.

Universe.

Spirits.

Ancestors.

GUSA.

The Universe is continuous.

Our connection to it is infinite.

And the deeper I travel into this journey, the more I understand that GUSA was never asking me to search the Universe for power.

GUSA was teaching me how to recognize the Universe within myself.

GUSA GOT US ALWAYS.
AND ALWAYS, GUSA GUIDES.
